Description:

This is an unaltered First Model 1908 Military made without a magazine hold-open device. Chamber dated "1911", with the "DWM" monogram on the toggle. Two crown/script proofs on the right barrel extension with the Imperial eagle proof on the right barrel extension, barrel, and breechblock. Full serial number on the frame (with "e" suffix) and barrel, with the partial serial number "66" on the takedown latch, side plate, sear, safety bar, thumb safety, and toggle link. Properly marked safety position and extractor. Straw colored small parts, checkered grips, and nickel wood base magazine numbered to another gun. Complete with a leather holster with no visible marks, takedown tool, and extra non-matching nickel wood base magazine.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as partially refinished. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with cold blue present on the grip straps (due to removal of regimental marking) and some minor edge wear with some mild spotting. The refinished small parts retain 75% original straw color. There is a minor indentation on the left panel, otherwise the replacement grips are excellent with few minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is good with the exception of an arsenal/modified/replacement closure strap, and minor scuffs and handling marks.
