Description:

Fixed sights, with the chamber dated 1914 and the "crown / ERFURT" logo on the toggle. Crown/gothic letter and Imperial eagle proofs are present, along with an Erfurt crown/RC military proof present on the front of the trigger guard. Full early no suffix serial number 604 present on the front of the frame, left barrel extension, and barrel underside, with the partial serial number (04) on the takedown latch, side plate, sear bar, safety bar, thumb safety lever, extractor, front toggle, and toggle link. Safety and extractor marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively and the underside of the barrel has the bore marking. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with the partial serial number (04) stamped on the backs. With an excellent nickel plated magazine with wood base numbered 3664.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown (mostly on barrel and grip straps) with some very light spotting on the grip straps. The small parts retain 85% original straw color. The grips are also excellent with a few minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
