Dated 1939 over the chamber with the Mauser code "42" on top of the toggle. Eagle firing and eagle/63 proofs are present on the right barrel extension and barrel. Properly marked safety position and extractor with the bore marking on the barrel underside. Full serial number on the frame (with "u" suffix), barrel extension, and barrel, with the partial serial number (90) on the takedown latch, side plate, sear, thumb safety, extractor, toggle, and toggle link. All blue finish with checkered grips, and blue aluminum base magazine numbered to a different gun. Complete with a brown leather holster, takedown tool, and non-matching extra magazine. The back of the holster is stamped "CARL ACKVA / BADKREUZNACH / 1939" over an eagle/EaA286 proof.

Excellent. The pistol retains 97% plus original blue finish with the grip straps thinning to a brown and the receiver thinning to a brown and some minor holster wear. The grips are excellent with some very scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with some minor age cracking overall and some flaking. Overall the stitching is tight.
