Description:

Blade front and tangent rear sights with fine adjustment screws, "1914" date on the chamber and "crown/ ERFURT" on the toggle. "Crown/ gothic letter" proofs are present on many parts, with Imperial Eagle firing proofs on the barrel, extension and breech and "crown/ RC" revision commission stamp on the extension. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, extension, frame, sights, latch, side plate, sear, safety, toggle links, extractor, breechblock and firing pin. Hold open is blank. Grips are checkered hardwood and the magazine is nickel with an unnumbered base.

Rating Definition:

Near mint as professionally restored, with 99% of the correct style blue and straw finish. Grips are near mint, with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. A very attractive, properly restored, desirable first year production 1914 Erfurt Artillery.
