The chamber is dated 1917 and the toggle has the "DWM" monogram. The pistol is a Nazi Police rework as most of features are of that era. The barrel has an eagle/63 proof on the left side, PT/eagle proof on the right, and "S/42" along with bore marking on the underside. Unidentified crown proof is stamped on the toggle link. Matching full serial number on frame (with "a" suffix) and barrel extension, with the partial serial number (92) on the "SU" proofed takedown latch, sear, safety bar, thumb safety lever, extractor, toggle, and toggle link. Straw finished small parts, police sear safety, checkered grips and Hannel Schmeissen marked magazine numbered to gun. Complete with a black leather holster with "H.J.S." carved on the back (only visible marking).

Excellent as arsenal refurbished. The pistol retains nearly 97% refurbished blue finish with some thinning to a brown (mostly on the side plate and back strap) with some moderate wear at the muzzle and stock lug. The small parts retain 90% original straw color. The grips are very fine with some minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fair with missing inner strap, broken latching strap, missing cleaning rod pouch and takedown pouch flap, a tear under the magazine pouch, and replacement belt loops.
