Description:

The cap is made of black wool, with raised peaked point adorned with a dark silver Wolfsangle insignia above a SS Totenkopf insignia. There is white piping, a black velvet cap band, patent leather visor, and a black leather strap held on by two black buttons, one on either side. The cap interior has a silver lining, with brown leather sweat band. The standard clear celluloid makers diamond is marked "59/ SS/ Gruppe West/ Wasserdicht/ Stirndruckfrei/ D.R.P.". Below markings is a label marked "This De Jong".

Rating Definition:

Fine with light wear. Leather chin strap is good, with some minor edge wear. Lining is good with minor water stains and some small holes. Leather sweat band is good, with moderate discoloration/staining.
