This is an example of a WWII U.S. Army Stevens contract 520-30 trench shotgun, with correct bayonet lug adapter, and 6-hole ventilated handguard with the three line address on the right barrel side and two line gauge ("PROOF TESTED-12 GAUGE / -2 3/4 INCH CHAMBER-) marking on the left barrel side. Choke gauges at cylinder. The left side of the receiver is marked "U.S.", along with the model markings and "P / ordnance bomb". "P / ordnance bomb" also on right side of barrel at breech. All blue finish with smooth forearm and pistol grip stock, canvas sling, and checkered plastic buttplate. With leather sling. LOP 14".

Very fine. The shotgun retains 95% original blue finish with extensive slide wear, some minor thinning, and some mild edge wear. The finish on the bayonet lug has taken on a correct purple hue with some minor thinning. The lightly sanded, cleaned, and reoiled wood is fine with a few minor handling marks. Follower is stuck partway up tube. Mechanically excellent.
