Blade front sight and 2-leaf rear sight , with an "2-44" dated Underwood barrel, Type I barrel band, standard receiver markings, round bolt, "STANDARD/ PRODUCTS" marked recoil plate, stamped trigger guard, pushbutton safety and "SW" marked magazine catch. Smooth low wood stock with 2-rivet handguard, Arsenal proof on the right side of the buttstock, oval oiler cut, "S H-B" in the sling cut, green canvas sling and a checkered buttplate.

Restored to WWII specifications, with 95% of the arsenal parkerized finish, showing a few hints of brown patina, bright wear on the high edges and in the path of the operating rod, and scattered handling marks. Stock is very good, with pressure dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
