Description:

Produced in 1943. Fixed sights, with "ITHACA GUN CO., INC / ITHACA, N.Y." and the top of the slide has a single "P" proof in front of the rear sight. Atwood inspected frame, with a "+" and "7" on the trigger guard, "P" by the magazine catch, and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY", "No" serial number and crossed cannons on the right side. Fitted with a High Standard barrel, serrated slide stop and thumb safety, long grip safety, narrow hammer and serrated arched mainspring housing. The grips are also the correct wartime versions manufactured by the Keyes-Fibre Company that have a single five-pointed star with a "K" and a single mold number, both located on the inside of the grips.
