Made in 1918, and later refurbished. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block Colt markings on the left side of the slide, "MODEL OF 1911.U.S.ARMY" on the right, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the right side of the frame over the "No" serial number and "eagle/ S6" and "65" on the left . Equipped with a thin checkered hammer, long grip safety, long trigger, checkered slide catch and thumb safety, flat smooth mainspring housing, Colt barrel and a pair of late-World War II style Coltwood grips. With a cardboard box hand numbered to gun.

Very fine as Arsenal refurbished, with 99% of the parkerization, showing light pitting beneath the surface and mild scratching and handling marks. Some material has been removed from the bushing and the sides of the frame near the trigger guard. Grips are excellent replacements, with light pressure dents. Box is very good, with some wear and tears. Mechanically excellent.
