Produced in 1942. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address and patent markings on the left side of the slide divided by the Rampant Colt, "P" on top and matching serial number on the slide, under the firing pin stop. The left side of the barrel lug has the boxed "C" Colt proofmark with no other markings, the frame is marked with a boxed "W.B." cartouche over "P" on the left side, with the "No" style serial number on the right side, and is equipped with a milled checkered trigger, thin hammer, arched checkered mainspring housing, long grip safety and early pattern (reinforced screw holes, no ribs) grips. With a brown leather shoulder holster marked "USMC/ BOYT/ 44" on the rear, with straps.

Excellent, with 95% of the original parkerized finish, with some spotting and mild pitting on the front area of the slide, scattered handling marks, dings on the rear sight and a few areas of high edge wear. Grips are very fine, with light pressure dents and verdigris buildup. Holster is good, with some oil stains and cracks. Mechanically excellent.
