Manufactured 1915. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line, two block patent dates and address, with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, the left side of fhe frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" , and "MODEL OF 1911.U.S.ARMY" is marked on the right side of the slide. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number and the left side is marked with the circle "GHS" inspection mark. The barrel chamber is marked with an "H" and "P". Fixed sights, lanyard ring on the heel, unmarked two tone magazine and fitted with checkered walnut grips with diamond around the screws. Complete with a "US" leather flap holster marked "G.&K. / 1917 / F.I.C." between the belt loops.

Refinished, the slide with most dull blue remaining with muzzle end and high edge wear. The remainder of the pistol retains most dull blue finish with edge wear, thinning on the front strap and a smooth gray patina on the back strap. The grips are good with scattered chips and dings in the otherwise crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is fine. The holster is good with some minor age cracking and tight stitching.
