Manufactured in Spain. This shotgun is a two barrel set with each set of barrels 28" long. Each set of barrels is numbered to the gun and feature a single bead sight on the matte vent rib, numbered "1" and "2" with gold inlay. Each has 3" chambers lengthened from 2 3/7" with ejectors and one (#2) choked at improved cylinder/improved cylinder and set #1 choked improved modified/modified. The barrel sets share the lower forearm. The barrels, break lever and trigger guard are blue and the scalloped box lock action casehardened. The action features relief engraving of a hunting dog on point scaring up two pheasants in a wooded scene and three ducks in a wooded marsh scene on the right side. The bottom of the action is marked "AYA / AGUIRRE Y ARANZABAL" and the serial number is relief engraved on the lower tang in bold numbers. Simple floral scroll engraving adorns the trigger guard. Double triggers, cross bolt barrel latch, cocking indicators, automatic tang mounted safety with gold inlaid "S" and mounted with checkered extra fancy walnut two piece forearm and pistol grip stock with a solid black Decelerator recoil pad. Complete in a leather wrapped hard takedown case with leather straps, corner protectors and handle, green felt lining with a Fabrira de Esropetas Aguirre & Aranzabal label affixed to the inside of the lid. LOP 14 1/4".

Excellent as refurbished to near new. The barrel set number 2 retains 98% blue finish with some minor wear on the muzzle end and under the forearm, and a few minor scratches and handling marks. There is a bit of the gold inlay remaining in the number. The number 1 set of barrels retains 96% blue finish with some wear heavy dings on each side over the chambers, scratches and minor spotting on the muzzles, a few scattered minor scratches and some wear under the forearm. The trigger guard retains 80% original blue finish with edge wear and a smooth gray patina on the tang. The break lever retains 95% finish with wear on the knob from normal usage. The outer surfaces of the action have a smooth gray coin finish patina with. The wood is excellent with a few minor dents and scratches, and sharp checkering hairline cracks in stock and forearm. The engraving remains sharp. Mechanically excellent. The case is good with a torn corner protector, some heavy corner wear and handle wear, stains and scuffs. The lining is excellent with some contact wear.
