Scroll engraved casehardened box lock action with "W. & C. SCOTT & SON." marked on both sides. The scroll engraving extends to the blued break lever, trigger guard and trigger plate. Water table and barrels have "crown/BNP" proofs. Single trigger and automatic tang safety. Checkered forearm and straight grip stock with buttstock initial oval and serrated bare butt with steel inserts at the heel and toe. LOP 14 1/8".

Refinished. The barrels retain 90% of the lower luster blue finish, with the balance a smooth plum patina. The action retains 90% of the case colors with the balance a smooth gray patina. The refinished wood is excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. There are some very scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering.
