Smooth two- piece stock with a cupped buttplate, side mounted sling swivels and a drain hole ahead of the trigger guard. The barrel has the number "626" and the two-piece takedown connector has the numbers "626" and "865". Bolt and extractor are numbered to the gun.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The rifle retains 30% original blue finish (mostly on the receiver) with the balance a smooth brown patina. There is some very scattered minor pitting with extensive deep pitting on the buttplate. The sanded and reoiled wood is very good with a couple minor gouges and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
