Very nice example of a rare late-war commercial Walther P-38 pistol. Standard blade front and notch rear sights. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner, two line address and caliber markings, and "Mod P38". The frame, slide, and barrel are each correctly serial numbered (matching) and each has an "eagle/N" commerce proof. It is fitted with serrated brown plastic grips.

Very good, with 85% of the original blue finish. The slide is taking on a mixed brown and gray patina, concentrated on the left side, with cold blue touch-up at the leading edge. A plum color is showing on the frame. Mild handling marks overall. Grips are excellent, with a few pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
