Serial number falls into the 4th variation range with the "eagle/M111/3" Navy proof on the left trigger guard web. Left side of slide has the Mauser banner and the two line Mauser legend. A commercial crown/N proof is present on the right side of the slide. Fitted with checkered grips. The magazine base is unmarked.

Excellent. The pistol retains nearly 95% original blue finish with the back strap thinned to a brown patina, some areas of faint plum, and some minor edge wear, with an area of minor pitting on the left side of the slide near the muzzle. The grips are fine with a couple minor pressure dents and some minor handling marks with some wear in the checkering.

The left side of the slide has the one line "J.P. SAUER & SOHN. SUHL" markings, and "CAL 7.65" and the right side is marked "PATENT". There is a commercial "eagle/N" proof on the left side of the slide, frame, and barrel. Fitted with black checkered plastic grips with Sauer logo on the left panel. Magazine is marked with the Sauer logo and "CAL. 7.65" on the bottom.

Very fine. The pistol retains 90% plus original blue finish with some minor edge and high spot wear with thinning wear on the back strap. The grips are excellent with a few minor scratches and a few minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering.
