The top of the receiver ring is marked with an eagle proof over "bnz / 42" with the serial number and eagle firing proof on the left side. "Mod. 98" is marked on the left receiver wall. The left rear of the barrel is marked with the Nazi firing proof and "41 ru eagle/WaA623" proof. All visible numbers match. Milled parts, ramped blade front sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters and unmarked stock with matching hand guard, cupped steel buttplate and an original cross hatch leather sling.

The top of the receiver is marked "eagle/135 / byf / 44", the right side "eagle/135" and the left side is marked with the Nazi firing proof and the serial number. The left receiver wall is marked "Mod. 98", the left rear of the barrel is marked with a Nazi firing proof and the top is marked "781" followed by a "eagle/135" proof. Matching bolt and mis-matched floor plate. There is a side rail scope mount on the left side below the rear sight with a ZF41/1 Scope. Stamped and welded parts, hooded front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters, slotted cleaning rod and mounted with an unmarked pistol grip stock with matching handguard, cupped buttplate and an original cross hatch leather sling. Complete with a ZF41/1 scope case.
