This is a fantastic as new example of the Persian 98/29 long rifles as produced in Tehran, Iraq. These were recently discovered in some arms shipments writing the last 15 years. Produced at the Tehran Arsenal for the Persian government, with all markings in Farsi. Blade and tangent sights, with the Persian lion on the receiver ring and makers markings on the left side. Smooth pistol grip stock with Farsi markings and a blank disc on the left buttstock, sling swivels and a steel buttplate. With bayonet and scabbard.

Like new with grease packed around the metal, with 99% original blue finish. Stock is excellent, with a few light scratches and pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
