This is an example of a custom engraved Erfurt Luger with ivory grips. A deep relief broad floral scroll engraved pattern on a matte background is featured on top of the barrel, barrel extension including the chamber, side plate, grip straps, and frame. The front of the frame, stock lug, barrel underside at the muzzle, side plate, and butt have a star burst type engraving. The luger retains the crown/Erfurt marking on the toggle, full serial number on the barrel extension, frame, and barrel, "GESICHERT" marked safety position, "GELADEN" marked extractor, and scattered crown/letter proofs. Smooth ivory grips and a wood base magazine marked with the letter "P" on the spine.

Custom embellished with over 99% of the coin finish remaining with only the slightest handling marks. The grips are near mint as custom made with the exception of a few small hairline age cracks near the bottoms. The ivory has an attractive grain pattern. Mechanically excellent.
