Manufactured in 1898. Brass bead front and 3-leaf rear sights, with the 2 line address on top of the barrel and 3-line model and single patent marking on the upper tang. Equipped with a full length magazine, saddle ring, and smooth straight grip stock.

Very good, with 20% of the thin, faded original blue finish, with a predominately brown patina on the barrel and magazine, and a chiefly gray patina on the receiver, along with scattered spotting and handling marks. Stock is very good; a tiny tack hole is visible in the left side of the comb, with scattered pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically fine.
