Manufactured from 1866 to the late 1880s. Special order 5-7/8" octagon factory sleeved barrel. Blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. Special order sights and factory altered breechblock latch. The top of the breechblock has 1864 patent dates with serial number on the left side of the frame under the grips.

Good. The pistol has a smooth gray patina. There is some minor pitting with some minor dings (mostly near the breech). The grips are good with some minor handling marks (mostly near the bottoms) and moderately worn checkering. A rare cartridge derringer.
