Description:

1) 14 inch long powder horn with engraved brass spout, middle band, and base. 2) 12 1/2 inch long powder horn with wood base. 3) 10 inch long scrimshawed powder horn (cavalry officer on horse back and American eagle with shield over "GEN. TAYLOR" in a banner over two deer. With an animal hide pouch. 4) 8 inch long powder horn with wood base. 5) 5 1/4 inch long powder horn with leather base. 6) 7 inch long powder horn with wood base. 7) 8 1/2 inch long scrimshawed powder horn with inscription (farm house scene with two flintlock rifles and "My Horn And I / Have Wandred Far. / For Redskins, Deer, Bar / From Thar To Here / We Kept Ye Powder Dry. / -His Horn in '89-"). 8) 4 1/4 inch long double faced eagle powder flask. 9) 9 1/2 inch long Am Flask & Cap Co. double faced powder flask (stag head over an buffalo hunting scene surrounded by oak leaves). 10) 8 inch long Dixon & Sons powder flask with hunting scene. 11) 6 1/4 inch long plain round powder flask. Appears to be a modified 1911 oiler. 12) "3 / lbs" marked leather shot bag.

Rating Definition:

1) Brass has some minor dings with a couple dents, otherwise good. Overall 2-7 are fine. The pouch accompanying 3 is in poor condition. 3 and 7 retain clear images. 8 is very fine with a smooth untouched aged patina. 9 is very good as cleaned with a long dent on one side. 10 is very good as cleaned with some minor dings and a large dent. 11 is fine with an even aged patina. 12 is in poor condition.
