Manufactured in 1906. Blade front and groove rear sights, with "COLT'S PT. F.A.MFG.Co. HARTFORD CT.U.S.A." on top of the barrel, "(BISLEY MODEL) 38 W.C.F." on the left, the two line patent markings on the left side of the frame next to the Rampant Colt, and assembly number "2505" on the loading gate. Matching numbers are present on the frame and grip straps, with matching partial numbers inside the grips. Grips are checkered, with Rampant Colt imprints at the top.

Refinished. The barrel and cylinder retain most of the dull blue finish showing some very mild thinning along with some flaking around the front sight. The grip straps retain half of the blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with some minor flaking and some minor spotting. The frame retains most of the refurbished case colors. There is some pin point pitting. There is a small shallow chip missing from the left grip panel near the bottom, otherwise the grips are very good with some minor handling marks and some wear.
