Manufactured in 1957. Standard markings including "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38 SPECIAL" on left barrel side. Matching numbers on frame and grip straps with grips numbered to another gun (60995). Fitted with checkered grips featuring Rampant Colt and Federal Eagle motifs.

Very fine. The barrel and ejector rod housing retains 95% original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown with moderate muzzle wear. The cylinder retains 90% thinning original blue finish with a strong cylinder drag line. The grip straps retain 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The frame retains 95% original case colors. The grips are very fine with some minor handling marks (mostly on the bottoms). Overall the checkering is crisp.
