Description:

This is an extremely rare example of an experimental P38 holster based on the Luger P.08 pattern holster. The back of the holster is stamped "A. FISCHER / BERLIN C.2 / 1939" in the area between the belt loops. A lift strap is sewn to the front holster body and to the top of the inside of the flap. A magazine pouch is sewn to the side of the holster body. This can be considered the second evolutionary step to standardized a holster for the new P-38. This unique holster is possibly the only one known.

Rating Definition:

Excellent plus. There is some minor flex wear and slight scuffing on the flap, otherwise some minor handling marks. Writer cannot recall ever seeing another one of these.
