Dated 1939 over the chamber and marked "42" on the top of the toggle. Two "eagle/63" proofs and the "eagle/swastika" firing proof appear on the right side of the receiver with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "eagle/63" is on the upper left rear of the barrel. The upper safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. Visible numbers match. Checkered grips and blue finished magazine with aluminum base.

Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing mild spotting, areas of brown patina, and a tiny amount of beginning pitting on the muzzle which has been touched up with cold blue as well as the side plate bump. Grips are very fine, with exception of a replaced chip near the safety and mild pressure dents. Mechanically needs adjustment.
