Dated 1938 on the chamber, with the "S/42" code on the toggle. "Eagle/63" proofs on the barrel and extension, "droop wing eagle" firing proofs on the barrel, extension and breechblock, and "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the upper safety area and extractor, respectively. Matching numbers, with checkered grips and renumbered to match nickel magazine with aluminum base. With an extra magazine and a brown leather holster marked on the back with "1938", "C. WEISS/ BRAUNSCHWEIG", and a faint Waffenamt proof.

Excellent, with 97% plus of the original blue finish showing bright edge wear, and scattered spotting and handling marks. Grips are excellent, with mild pressure dents. Holster is fine, with exception of some loose stitching and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
