Description:

Single bead sight on the combination bayonet lug and 6-hole heat shield, which partially covers the commercial markings on the barrel. "P/ flaming bomb" is present on the barrel and receiver, and the left side of the receiver is marked "U.S.". Smooth pistol grip stock, with sling swivels and a serrated buttplate. Cylinder choke, 2 3/4" chamber and 14" pull.

Rating Definition:

Refurbished, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing some mild handling marks, scattered spotting and areas of bright gray patina. The bayonet lug has turned a plum patina, with "82 2847 EB" hand marked on the side, and the refurbished receiver shows signs of machine grinding, which the consignor states was part of an effort to remove rust. Stock is very good, with a loose forearm, dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
