Description:

Produced in 1943. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address/patent marking with the Rampant Colt in the center on the left side of the slide and "P" on top. The frame is marked with the "G.H.D" inspection stamp, "X/ VP" on the trigger guard, and "No" style serial number. Fitted with a checkered wide hammer, milled trigger, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing and late war style Coltwood grips. Barrel is High Standard production.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 80% of the original parkerized finish, showing bright wear along the high edges, a few areas of brown patina and scattered handling marks. Grips are also very fine, with a few pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
