Blade front and "H.I." marked rear sights, with a Type II barrel band, "7-44" Inland barrel, blue round, "M" magazine catch, and push-button safety. No magazine. Low stock and 2-rivet hand guard, with leather cheekpiece, oiler, "P'" and ordnance cross cannon cartouche on the grip, a faint illegible boxed arsenal mark on the left rear, green canvas sling and wire buttstock. Missing magazine.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refurbished. The carbine retains 90% slightly faded parkerized finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The stock has some minor spotting and pitting. The reoiled wood is fine with a few minor handling marks and a hairline crack on the right side near the stock hardware. Mechanically excellent.
