Description:

Founded in 1975 in Richland, Washington, the C. Sharps Arms Company moved to Big Timber, Montana in 1980 and manufactures custom made rifles to individual customs specifications. This rifle is an early production of the H74 model as it is marked with serial number 4 and features a 34 inch medium weight breech end third octagon barrel. The barrel is fitted with a hooded pin sight. The rear sight is a buckhorn sporting sight with a flip up ladder sight. There is also a vernier mid-range sight mounted to the tang of the rifle. The barrel is finished blue and the remaining metal surfaces are polished steel. The top of the barrel flat is marked "OLD RELIABLE" followed by two line address. The left side of the action is marked "C SHARPS ARMS CO. INC / BIG TIMBER, MT U S A / H74-004". It is equipped with adjustable double set triggers. The forearm and straight stock are upgraded with special order smooth triple-x-fancy walnut and the forearm tip is fitted with a pewter cap. Included is the instruction manual, original receipt of purchase, and C.Sharps flier.
