This single shot rifle was manufactured by C. Sharps Arms Company in Big Timber, Montana as a reproduction of the original Sharps 1874 rifle. The full octagon barrel is equipped with a hooded pin front sight, buckhorn and ladder flip up rear sight, and features a tang mounted mid-range sight. The top of the barrel is marked "OLD RELIABLE" followed by the two line address and the caliber marking. The left side of the frame is inscribed "C. SHARPS ARMS CO. INC. / BIG TIMBER, MT USA / 74-1211". The wood has been upgraded to a special order triple-x-fancy walnut, with the smooth forearm with a pewter end cap and the straight smooth stock with cheekpiece fitted with a checkered metal buttplate. It features adjustable double set triggers. Included is paperwork featuring C. Sharps Arms accessories catalog.
