Either French or Belgian in origin. No maker's markings or visible proofs, pinched blade and hammer notch sights, six round unfluted cylinder, ejector rod mounted on the right side of the barrel lug and fitted with two piece checkered walnut grips with raised relief leaf carving on the top.

Very fine. The revolver retains 60% original blue finish mixed with smooth gray and brown patina, showing minor spotting on the barrel and cylinder and a few areas that have been cleaned. With the exception of several dents on the right side bottom and a moderate dent on the lower left, the grips are fine with some bruising and dings in the otherwise crisp checkering. The action is excellent.
