The left side of the frame is marked "J. LECLER CO / FRERES / BREVETES". The breech face is Liege proofed, and there is a "crown/T" proof on the left side of the frame and breech face.. Side mounted barrel release, barrels tip up for loading, double hammers and triggers, Damascus barrels and fitted with a one piece checkered grip.

Very fine. The barrels retain 80% original brown finish and Damascus pattern. The frame retains 90% original high polish blue finish with a number of dings around the trigger guard, scattered minor flaking, dings and spotting. The grip is very fine with a few scattered minor dings, dents and crisp checkering. Clear markings. The action is excellent.
