Manufactured in 1955. Beaded dovetail front and adjustable folding leaf rear sights, with the left side of the barrel having the standard marking including "22 L. RIFLE/ - SUPER SPEED AND SUPER-X", with the Winchester oval proof stamped on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The tang is tapped for sight mounting. Custom engraving featuring oval game scenes flanked by a scroll and punch dot pattern on the sides and top of the receiver along with a light engraving on the forend cap and scrollwork on the trigger guard. Rabbit on the left side of receiver, wolf on right side of receiver, and badger on top of receiver. Smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent as custom embellished with virtually all of the blue finish remaining. The wood is fine with most of the varnish remaining, numerous minor handling marks, and a couple gouges.
