Manufactured in 1940. Features a dovetail front sight and adjustable sporting type rear sight on a barrel with standard barrel markings and winchester oval proof on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper tang is unmarked. 10 groove forearm with a straight grip stock with a checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 90% original blue finish with the barrel having thinned to a smooth plum. The slide bar shows some wear and overall there are a few minor dings and scratches. The wood is good with a few small minor gouges on the stock and overall some scattered minor dings and scratches. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
