Manufactured in 1950. Features a hooded ramp blade front, rear sight has been removed and filler block installed and the receiver is equipped with a Lyman #56 peep sight. Standard barrel markings with the Winchester oval proof on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. 1/2 magazine, and mounted with a checkered semi-beavertail walnut forearm with steel end cap and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber Winchester grip cap, checkered steel buttplate and quick release sling swivels.

Very fine, as modified (Lyman Sight added). The barrel retains 97% original blue finish beginning to thin at the breech end. The receiver retains 90% plus original blue finish thinning on the bottom to a smooth gray. The reoiled wood is also very fine with a few overall scattered minor dings and scratches, and very crisp checkering. The markings remain sharp. The action is excellent.
