This is an excellent example of a late model Target Rifle. The left rear of the barrel is marked with the standard Winchester trade mark, model and caliber marking, the left side of the receiver is marked with he serial number and the Winchester oval proof is marked on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The "WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK" is marked on the right side of the receiver ring. Lyman 77 globe front sight, scope target block bases on the heavy barrel and a Redfield Olympic receiver peep sight. Two factory holes for barrel bedding are present between the accessory rail near the tip of the forearm. Smooth pistol grip stock with Canjar buttplate assembly. The right rear of the trigger guard has been modified by cutting away a section

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% of the original blue finish with some thinning on the bolt handle and a few small areas of minor spotting on the barrel. The trigger guard cutout was left in the white and was nicely done. There are a few minor dings on the accessory rail. The stock is also excellent with a few scattered minor dings and dents. Sharp markings. Excellent action.
