Manufactured in 1926 and features a blade front sight and an adjustable buckhorn sporting rear sight. The frame has contoured sides, indicating later production, and a takedown switch on the front underside. The upper tang is drilled for a tang sight and marked "MODEL 95 / -WINCHESTER- / TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. & FGN." and two line address/patent dates on the left side of the receiver and the left rear of the barrel is marked with the nickel steel smokeless powder marking followed by ".35 W.C.F.". Mounted with a checkered Schnabel forearm with ebony forend insert and fancy walnut straight grip stock with a serrated hard rubber buttplate.

Very good. The rifle retains 80% original blue finish, thinning overall showing areas of smooth brown patina. The magazine and lever are a mix of original blue finish and smooth brown patina. The wood is excellent with a few overall scattered minor dents and handling marks, with crisp checkering. The markings are clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
