Manufactured in 1897. Blade front and semi-buckhorn style rear sights with the two line address/patents marking ahead of the rear sight and "32 Cal." at the breech. The Rampant Colt is marked on the left side of the receiver, full length magazine, casehardened hammer and mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Fine as partially refinished. The rifle retains 75% original finish with areas thinning to a smooth gray and plum patina. The wood has been lightly sanded and varnished, and remains very good with a few scattered minor dings and scratches. The markings remain sharp. The action is excellent.
