The bronze, modeled after Duchoiselle (c. 19th century), shows the Native American maiden paddling her canoe. The squaw is glancing sideward while her feet rest at the front of the canoe and is dressed in fancy Native American attire. Signed on the base of the canoe, the bronze measures 23"x18"x11" and rests on a marble base.
