Made in 1945, in the last block of U.S. 1911A1 pistols by Colt. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block patent dates and Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide and "P" on top ahead of the rear sight. "G.H.D." inspected frame with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY / No 2301604", "M1911A1 U.S. ARMY" and the crossed cannon cartouche on the right side. Colt barrel, "B" in front of the lug and "P" and a boxed "C" on the left and right side respectively. Reinforced Coltwood grips and "S" marked full blue magazine.

Excellent, showing 98% plus original parkerized finish, with some very minor high edge wear and handling marks, and a tiny amount of spotting on the right side of the slide. Grips are excellent with a few minor dings. Mechanically excellent.
