Made in 1944. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked "ITHACA GUN CO., INC./ ITHACA, N.Y.", and "P" on top. "G.H.D." inspected frame, with "e/ VP" Colt proof and standard markings. Checkered stamped trigger, thin hammer, slide catch and thumb safety, serrated arched mainspring housing, reinforced Coltwood grips and a Flannery Bolt Company barrel.

Very fine as assembled, with 97% of the parkerized finish, showing bright wear concentrated along the high edges, and mild handling marks. Grips are excellent, with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
