Description:

Published in 1946 by The Singer Manufacturing Company, this report examines the problems confronting each of Singer's branches in the United States and Canada during the Second World War (1939-1945), the various war work commitments assumed by the company, the items produced and the methods employed to accomplish such production. The variety of items for the war effort that are featured in this report include: the Model 1911A1 semi-automatic pistol, B-29 bomber gunfire control computers, variable pitch wooden propeller blades, parts for the T-1 bomb sight, M1 carbine receiver, and much more. The report is 233 pages and is illustrated with numerous photographs and drawings.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with the exception of a large stain near the bottom edge that extends to all of the pages. All pages are bound. Still a solid example of a rare World War II production report.
