Manufactured in 1944. Ramp beaded blade front sight (no hood), removed rear sight (filler block added) and peep sight on the bolt. Standard markings with the factory proof on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Half magazine and checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with sling swivel studs, factory hard rubber grip cap, and checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% original blue finish with some speckling of gray (mostly on lever and forend cap) and a smooth gray patina on the buttplate. The wood is also excellent with some minor dings and scratches with most of the varnish remaining. There are some minor nicks (mostly in the grip area) in the overall crisp checkering.
