These pistols were all WWI Lugers that were arsenal reworked to conform to the Versailles Treaty and were specifically issued to German military and/or Police units. The top of the chamber is marked "1921" with the front toggle assembly correctly marked "DWM" for Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken, the original manufacturer. The right side of the barrel extension is marked with three E/WaA4 or E/ArA4 proof marks with the right rear section of the barrel having the "PTV/Eagle" proof indicating that the barrel was replaced, with the left side having the early Eagle/33 proof mark. The top of the side plate has the small spring left over from the sear safety mechanism, which is typical of Police lugers produced during this time frame. The front grip strap is marked "S.D.V344.", which was the Schutzpolizei, that later evolved into the Nazi police and Gestapo. The pistol has a standard rust blued finish with straw colored small parts with checkered walnut grips. This luger has a single police magazine that is marked on the right side "HAENEL/SCHMEISSER/PATENT" with the aluminum base, that is stamped in the police style with large numbers "5964".

Professionally restored overall with 99% of the rust blue finish overall. The markings are clear and sharp overall with 98% of the restored straw colors on the small parts. The grips are in very fine condition with nice checkering on both sides with minor handling marks with even honest wear across the tops of the checkering. This pistol has all matching parts except the magazine as noted above and the grips which are unnumbered.
