Fixed sights, with "P.38", "byf/ 44" and the serial number on the left side of the slide. Matching numbers on slide, frame, and locking block, with eagle/WaA135 proofs on the left side of the locking block and frame and the right side of the slide has an eagle firing proof flanked by WaA135 proofs. Fitted with ribbed bakelite grips. Complete with a P38 holster marked "joa / 1941" on the back. The inside of the holster is hand marked "McCARTER / 36311815".

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% plus original blue finish with some barely noticeable holster wear at the muzzle. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks and a small chip missing at the top (right panel). The holster is very good with minor handling marks and wear with tight stitching. Mechanically excellent.
