"41" chamber date and "byf" Mauser code on the toggle. Eagle firing and eagle/655 proofs are present on the right barrel extension and barrel. Safety and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively and the left side, rear of the frame is stamped "P.08". Visible numbers on the pistol match. There is an unreadable electro pencil marking on the front strap. All salt blue finish, with checkered hard rubber grips and blue magazine with plastic base. The left side of the magazine is marked "fxo / eagle/37" and "P08" near the base. Complete with a brown leather flap holster marked "dta/41","eagle swastika /WaA195" between the belt loops and "P08" behind the belt loops and extra magazine with same markings.

Very fine as partially refinished (side plate). The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear, some thinning on the grip straps and smooth mottled dark patina on the left side of the frame. The modern replacement grips are fine with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent. The holster is good with some minor flex cracking and tight stitching.
