Description:

Blade front and tangent rear sights, with the chamber dated 1914 and the toggle with the Erfurt logo. Crown/gothic letter proofs are present on many of the parts with Imperial Eagle firing proofs on the breech bock, barrel and barrel extension. Properly marked safety area and extractor. Visible numbers match. Checkered grips, straw colored small parts, and no magazine. Complete with a wooden stock with attaching hardware numbered to a different gun (4783). The stock is stamped with the date 1920 and a large crown/gothic S proof.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The pistol retains 80% faded original blue finish with scattered nicks and dings with the balance a smooth brown patina. There is some minor pitting (mostly on the barrel). The small parts retain 30% original straw color. The grips are fine with an area of wear on the left grip near the bottom and some scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine. Missing magazine. The stock is very fine with some minor dings and scratches.
